Andhra Pradesh chief minister
Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy has kicked up a storm by creating a jumbo-sized board for the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD). Not only is the number up from 19 to 36, including seven special invitees, many members face CBI and ED probes. Two are co-accused with Reddy himself while some others are nominees of his mentor, Telangana chief minister K. Chandrashekar Rao. Among the special invitees is a Chennai-based mining tycoon whom Jagan had accused in 2016 of being a ‘benami’ of Telugu Desam Party chief N. Chandrababu Naidu. The TDP is waiting for Reddy to explain this U-turn.
