Baksa has shown uniform improvement in almost all the parameters in this category. In case of the pupil-teacher ratio and the drop-out rate, this district ranked #1. The ratio of girls to boys (primary) increased from 0.99 in 2011-12 to 1.02 in 2016-17, ranking it #2.
