Why it won

The number of schools with girl’s toilets increased from 48.9 per cent to 78.7 per cent, the second highest improvemen­t. The number of households with improved sanitation facility increased by 36 per cent between 2011 and 2017. The number of households with provisions for improved drinking water increased from 92 per cent in 2011 to 98 per cent in 2017
