THE NEW OYSTER PERPETUAL GMT-MASTER II BOASTS A MOVEMENT THAT IS AT THE FOREFRONT OF WATCHMAKING TECHNOLOGY
Chasing new horizons may as well be the Rolex mission statement, but with the GMT-Master, they have let ambition rule the skies. The Oyster Perpetual GMT-Master II was made for airborne adventure, and is a surprising version that connects people beyond time zones. Perfect for travellers, this model is designed as a navigation aid for professionals criss-crossing the globe. It has a unique and instantly recognisable design with a bidirectional rotatable bezel and a 24-hour graduated insert, which is available in various dual-colour combinations——the lower half symbolises daytime and the upper signals night-time ——as well as in single colour versions. This watch is made from Oystersteel and fitted with an Oyster bracelet that features a two-colour monobloc Cerachrom bezel insert in green and black ceramic that has never before been seen on the model. This new version of the GMT-Master II is equipped with calibre 3285, a movement at the forefront of watchmaking technology, which enables it to display the hours, minutes, seconds and date, as well as an additional time zone in a 24-hour format. Of course, like all Rolex watches, it carries the Superlative Chronometer certification that guarantees perfection. That’s why they call it a Rolex!
