MARUTI SUZUKI GOES THE HYBRID WAY

Maruti Suzuki will introduce some form of hybrid technology in every vehicle it launches in the next 5-7 years, says the brand’s chief technical officer C.V. Raman. Not taking the direct EV route unlike other Indian automakers, Maruti is betting smart with the hybrid tech. Hybrid cars are easier to develop and produce, and their batteries are cheaper to replace in the long run as they are smaller than the massive units in EVs.
