Shunted to the Rajya Sabha after the NDA-JD(U) government came to power in Bihar in 2020, former deputy chief minister Sushil Modi seems back in the reckoning after Nitish dumped the saffron side. From attacking Nitish for his ambitions to “exposing” Deputy CM Tejashwi Yadav, Modi is on the warpath. When the RJD tried to get even and their minister Ramanand Yadav accused him of owning two malls in family members’ names, Modi promised to gift the properties to Lalu Yadav’s family if they could prove the charge.
