When Less is More

-

To pay homage to and celebrate 10 years of its existence, the Sarita Handa label has launched a new concept store—Sarita Handa NOW. While the brand has prided itself on rich handicrafts, embroidery and textures, the store unveils a fresh story that draws on a new design language, inspired by the design principles of wabi-sabi, feng shui and biophilia. Sprawling across 11,000 square feet, each conceptdriven room—multiple living, dining or bedroom settings—allows the customer to visualise the space as if it were their own, complete with curated furniture pieces, objets d’art and other collectables. Also, Sarita Handa NOW has collaborated with Gallery Art Positive to display works from artists such as Harish Ojha, Siddharth Kerkar and Anni Kumari among others. The interplay of textures through handwoven fabrics, natural materials and sculptural design conflate to reign supreme in a space that caters to a vibe as much as an aesthetic.
