NIFF Lauds Kashmiri Head Coach Of Chandigarh Team
SRINAGAR: J&K National and International Footballers Forum (NIFF) on Sunday lauded AFC ‘B’ License coach Muzamil Mehmood for his senior head coach role with Chandigarh football team. Ganderbal-born Muzamil’s Chandigarh faced J&K in the opening match of the 75th Santosh Trophy.
NIFF in a statement said that Muzamil has made his debut as a head coach, and lauded his efforts to “help Chandigarh earn a ‘monumental draw’ against J&K”.
“Muzamil Mehmood credited this opportunity to his mentor, international coach and educator, Sajid Yusuf. Speaking after the game he said that its a matter of great respect that he was given this opportunity to lead the Chandigarh State team in Santosh
Trophy and would do his best for the team and players to do well,” the NIFF statement added.
Chandigarh is hosting the North Zone leg of Santosh Trophy NFC.
