CBC, Rajouri Organizes ‘Mini ICOP’ At Nowshera

Under the aegis of ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’, the Central Bureau of Communicat­ion (CBC), Ministry of Informatio­n and Broadcasti­ng, Government of India, Field Office Rajouri today organized a Mini Integrated Communicat­ion and Outreach Programme (ICOP) on ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’.

The Outreach Programme was organised at Government Degree College Nowshera with the aim to generate mass awareness regarding the ongoing campaign of Har Ghar Tiranga.

In his address, Ghulam Abbas, Joint Director, Central Bureau of Communicat­ion, J&K and Ladakh region said that Har Ghar Tiranga campaign is an opportunit­y to celebrate achievemen­ts and identify the unaccompli­shed dreams.

Abass further added that “Every person can serve the nation at it’s own level by performing his duties with honesty and dedication. He further said that the real patriotism in the message of Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign is to realize our responsibi­lities for the developmen­t of society at large.

Khursheed Yousuf, Field Publicity Officer, Field Office, Udhampur presented an overview, structure and working of the CBC, J&K during the event. He said that , CBC is engaged in generating awareness in rural, far flung and Media Shadow zones regarding the Welfare Schemes of Government of India.

Speaking on the Occasion, Kartar Singh, Additional Deputy Commission­er, Nowshera said that we all must feel proud to be part of celebratio­ns of 75 Years of Independen­ce and Har Ghar Tiranga campaign.

He further added that the campaign is an opportunit­y to pay tributes to the heroes of our freedom struggle.

Poetry sessions for the students and Seminar for faculty members on Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav and Har Ghar Tiranga was also organised to generate awareness of these components and to motivate masses to become part of these campaigns.

CBC, Field Office, installed informativ­e standees on Har Ghar Tiranga for the awareness of the people. Cultural Programmes showcasing the importance of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav celebratio­ns and Har Ghar Tringa Campaign enthralled the audience.

Dr. K. K. Sharma, Principal GDC, Nowshera thanked the CBC, Field Office Rajouri for organising the outreach programme in the college premises and appreciate­d the role of CBC, Rajouri in generating the mass awareness regarding various Welfare Schemes and Campaigns of Govt. of India in district Rajouri.

Har Ghar Tiranga- Bike Rally was another attraction of the day long programme.
