AAP-BJP ‘Sig­na­ture’ war on over credit

THE Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) called the dis­rup­tion caused by Delhi BJP chief Manoj Ti­wari’s in­sis­tence to at­tend the in­au­gu­ra­tion of Sig­na­ture Bridge on Sun­day a “pre-planned con­spir­acy” and de­manded the in­ter­ven­tion of Union home min­is­ter Ra­j­nath Singh.

The AAP also de­manded Ti­wari’s ar­rest on Mon­day.

“BJP MP Manoj Ti­wari and his goons dam­aged Delhi gov­ern­ment prop­erty, threw wa­ter bot­tles at Delhi chief min­is­ter Arvind Ke­jri­wal, and re­sorted to vi­o­lence at the pro­gramme. He should be ar­rested for this and Ra­j­nath Singh, be­ing the home min­is­ter, should in­ter­vene,” said AAP’s (North-East Lok Sabha seat in-charge) Dilip Pandey.

The AAP de­fended Okhla MLA Amanat­ul­lah Khan af­ter the BJP al­leged that he was threat­en­ing Ti­wari. How­ever, Ti­wari coun­ter­al­leged that he was heckled, pushed and threat­ened by AAP MLA Amanat­ul­lah Khan and AAP work­ers dur­ing the event. He plans to file an FIR.
