2 miss­ing J&K teenagers join ter­ror ranks

A 14-year-old boy, who went miss­ing along with an­other teenager on Au­gust 31 in Kash­mir, has joined the mil­i­tants.

The teenager, who hails from Bandi­pora, had gone miss­ing along with a 16-yearold, from his res­i­dence on Au­gust 31. The two went miss­ing af­ter an en­counter took place at their neigh­bour­hood where three Lashkar mil­i­tants were killed. De­spite re­peated ap­peals by his fam­ily ask­ing him to re­turn home, the boy is now learnt to have taken to mil­i­tancy. On Wed­nes­day, the teen's pic­ture sur­faced on the in­ter­net in which he was seen hold­ing an AK-47 as­sault ri­fle. Po­lice be­lieve the two may have joined Lashkar-e-Taiba.
