With ‘Home’ Lobo joins fellow choreographers for a project which aims to “engage with diverse communities to build a sense of connection and shared unde -rstanding across boundaries and cultures”. His interpretation of ‘Home’ is rooted in the belief that “if you are one with you, then you are at home wherever you are. India is a bundle of confusion, but there is a strange order within that confusion which is why it continues to flourish...”

“The acceptance of chaos and order in every part of one’s life, within yourself, your country or home, or the larger universe. Recognising and accepting it all is home,” Lobo shares.

Ashley Lobo will perform in New York with five other choreographers.
