RAJASTHAN BECOMES FIRST STATE IN THE COUNTRY TO INTRODUCE HINDI E-MAIL IDS

Marwar - - All Things [ Great And Small ] -

According to media reports, Rajasthan has introduced free Hindi e-mail IDs for its residents. With this, Rajasthan becomes the first and the only state in the country to have vernacular e-mail IDs. The facility—name@ ra j as than.bh ar at (in Devanagari script)—is likely to help residents who are not comfortable with English e-mail IDs go digital, adding millions of new users. The state’s main language is Marwari which is written in the Devanagari script. The very first ID to be created was that of the chief minister—vasundhara@ rajasthan.bharat (in Devanagari). Soon all government personnel in the state too will have Hindi IDs.
