The current pandemic has brought this important realization to the whole world, that diagnostic testing is a very essential part of healthcare. No medical treatment can be possible without proper diagnostic tests. Fortunately, the Indian Government too has recognized the importance of widespread diagnostic testing for prevention and treatment of diseases along with another important realization that it is not possible for a large country like India to provide proper medical facilities to every Indian unless we becomes Atma Nirbhar in manufacturing all the common medical devices. The PLI scheme is a good start and will encourage domestic manufacturers to engage in high-value production. As an industry leader, we welcome these efforts of the Government of India. Our teams in R&D and manufacturing are ready to boost local manufacturing to meet India's total needs and also proudly export them to all other developing countries.
