ERDA INTRODUCES MEDICAL DEVICES CALIBRATION FACILITY

Electrical Research and Development Association (ERDA) is a not-for-profit autonomous organization offering its services under three verticals i.e. Testing & Evaluation, Field Services and R&D and Expert Services to the Power sector. ERDA is a well-known provider of Calibration services for high accuracy instruments in the field of Electrotechnical, Mechanical, Thermal and Optical calibration having best in class Calibration and Measurement Capacity (CMC). The ongoing pandemic situation and the growing incidences of lifestyle diseases have shifted the focus of a nation’s development to the healthcare sector. With refocussed healthcare market, there rises the need of accurately calibrated medical instruments that can ensure reliable and quality healthcare. In order to cater to this national obligation, ERDA proudly announces an expansion of its calibration facilities by introducing the Medical Devices Calibration Facility. With the introduction of Medical Devices Calibration Facility, ERDA opens its doors to medical instrument manufacturers and healthcare centres and hospitals for quality calibration of medical equipment as per IEC 60601 and other relevant standards.
