Ravindran Govindan
Chairman Time Medical Systems India
on the Australian and Singaporean stock exchanges. Ravi then held the position of Executive Chairman ASPAC for Fisher Scientific, now Thermo-fisher, for 8 years.
By then he had developed a passion for start-ups and in 2006 Ravi founded Mercatus Capital to nurture, and invest in, a fresh generation of businesses. The mission he set himself was to attract investors, entrepreneurs, developers and innovators to Singapore. Time Medical Systems is one such company. He believes his successes are due to his perspectives on valuation, understanding of economic systems – primarily Singapore and the importance of networks of distribution.
He is deeply involved in incubation processes for ventures – primarily technologies for digital health care. He is already working on a site in India for developing world class peptide-based diagnostic platform. His current mission is to co-create a Singapore-india Global Health Tech Hub (SIGHT).
