HI-TECH HEALTHCARE SOLUTIONS
SNG is founded by Late P K Narula in 1953 in the space of healthcare supplies. Over the decades SNG introduced many new technologies from World over in India and hi-tech healthcare solutions became synonym with the groups name. SNG has been pioneers in the space of intra-healthcare logistics optimization through Pneumatic Tube Systems, Automated Waste & Laundry Collection System, Automated Guide Vehicles – each of these solutions are applied in a healthcare facility’s materials movement from one department to the other, such as lab samples, blood bags, documents, soiled and fresh linen, patient food trays, hospital waste etc. etc. Apart from this SNG has venture into the segment of design, supply, installation and maintenance of the very critical Central Medical Gas Pipeline Systems, Modular & Seamless Operating Rooms, Turn-key packaged solutions for Patient Rooms, ICUS, ERS and other critical and patient care spaces in the Hospital. With over 3000 projects and 500 active clientele, SNG today stands tall and strong.
SNG is not merely an equipment supplier, rather, SNG is a solutions provider. With in-house teams for Designing, Analyzing, Procuring, Supplying, Commissioning and providing customer support – make SNG a unique organization. With experience and expertise in turn-key packaged solutions, SNG is a one-stop shop for the hospitals – which helps: A. Reduce total time during the contractual process by having just one process instead of multiple ones. This does not necessarily imply less construction time.
B. Provide relatively “lower cost” when integrating “all” the elements under one provider.
C. Reducing changes in orders which generally costs more during the implementation of the project.
D. Provide peace of mind to the Customer, when the entire responsibility to SNG for the scope.
SNG Offers currently the following healthcare infrastructure solutions:
Automated Materials Transport Systems:
Pneumatic Tube System [PTS] – is a network tube within the campus and buildings of the hospital to transport spontaneously from one department to the other – primarily drugs, documents, cash, lab samples, blood plasma, blood bags, reports etc. are transported using PTS. This reduces the risk of bio-hazards, delays, pilferage & theft and reduces turnaround times for lab reports and other procedures and saves critical life-saving time. In partnership with World’s No. 1 Swisslog Healthcare Gmbh [Germany], SNG offers PTS in the South Asian region and has executed well over 500 projects in the region.
Automated Pneumatic Waste Collection System [APWCS]– a network of steel tube that enables hospital waste bags to be transported through it, both vertically and horizontally directly to the central collection area for further processing and disposing. Automated waste bags segregation is also possible with this system. & Automated Pneumatic Laundry Collection System. [APWCS]– A hospital may generate over 10-15kgs of soiled linen during a day per patient bed. These bags and mounds of soiled linen is transported through a network of steel tube that enables hospital the soiled linen bags to be conveyed, both vertically and horizontally, directly to the central collection area in the laundry. These systems allow the hospitals to maintain highest levels of hygiene and disinfection within the hospital corridors and buildings and this prevents the foul smell, bio-hazards, physical & manual movement of hospital wastes through the thorough areas of the facility. SNG offers these systems in partnership with Air-log International Gmbh from Germany.
Automated Guided Vehicles [AGVS] – a number of autonomous robotic carts / cars carry heavy payloads of materials such as Fresh Linen/food Tray Trolleys from Laundry / Kitchen to various Wards and destinations automatically on demand, interphases with elevators, doors and uses the embedded hospital map. These can carry payloads of up to 300-500kgs. Improving and enhancing distribution of these materials to various wards systematically. AGVS are offered in India by SNG in partnership with Swisslogkuka-otsaw – leaders in Robotics in the World.
MEDITEK® Medical Gas Systems
Central Medical Gas Pipeline System [CMGPS] – A robust and well-designed gas pipeline system with manifolds, compressors, vacuum units and changeover units is created with terminal points for delivery of various medical gases in a hospital viz. Oxygen, Nitrous Oxide, Carbon Dioxide, Vacuum, Compressed Air. SNG adopts best design engineering in executing CMGPS in hospitals considering regular, emergency and pandemic situations. The basic design principals followed by our team for MGPS solution is to provide a safe and effective method of delivering the required gas from the source through a Pipeline distribution system to the patient via self-locking and self-sealing terminal units – the outlets.
Each gas must be supplied or generated from a separate independent system and it is essential that that gas should be tapped through a dedicated terminal gas unit and all the parts of each unit are gas specific and ensure that there is no possibility of cross connection between the gases.
During the design & implementation stage, all specifications, volumetric flow requirements, line pressure losses and sizing of pipes are important criteria which are planned by our teams based on each facility’s bed strength and requirements.
SNG offers these products under the brand name MEDITEK®, which are produced by some of well-renowned OEMS in India and overseas.
Medical Oxygen Storage Tanks [LMO] – SNG offered a range of LMO tanks / cryogenic tanks which are connecting with hospital’s CMGPS manifolds.
Medical Oxygen Generators [OGP] – PSA / VPSA based oxygen generation plants with optional high-pressure oxygen cylinder filling stations are offered to compliment hospital’s CMGPS Manifold and LMO Tanks to cater to any unforeseen emergencies.

“It was extremely disheartening to see and experience the extreme and grave situation, specially during the second lockdown. The fatalities and casualties didn’t happen because of lack of oxygen, but rather because of lagging infrastructure be it inadequately designed Central medical Gas Pipeline Systems, absence of back-up systems, inadequately planned clinical and critical spaces. But it was equally heart-warming to see that both the Government and the Hospitals quickly took note of this and commenced the processes of re-designing the facilities and re-specifying the requirements for upcoming projects.”, explained Puneet Narula, Head Projects & Technologies. “
