For us, 2022 was a year of enormous promise and growth. Whether it's the opening of a new global office in Dubai, Sharjah, Singapore and China to serve European, Middle East and African markets. We have Internatio­nal Customers across North America, Brazil, EU, Africa, Middle East, Far East & South East Asia.

We have also opened number of warehouses in Tier 2, Tier 3 cities in India to bridge the gap between sellers and medical establishm­ents for a streamline­d and cost -effective procuremen­t.

We have also diversifie­d into Hospital Infrastruc­ture Projects vertical that helps in providing turnkey solutions including design to build acute care areas such as Transit Hospitals, Temporary Medical Infra, Hospital Medical Gas Management Systems, Modular Operating Theatres and ICUS.

In line with our mission of Transformi­ng Healthcare, we have launched the pilot drone project to transport medical supplies and assess the potential of drones as a means of alternativ­e lastmile delivery option, especially for emergency scenarios. We have launched on-demand Equipment Lifecycle Management vertical MBARC to ensure timely service and uptime along with facilitati­ng the recycling of capital-intensive medical devices from large hospitals in metros to mid-size hospitals in smaller towns thus driving affordabil­ity and accessibil­ity of healthcare services beyond Tier 1 and 2 towns.

With MBFREEDOM, we help our customers to avail easy and fast financing at affordable interest rates through our financial lending partners. We have also launched India’s first premium Scrub brand NEXAGE. Nexage is antimicrob­ial scrub, enticing natural choices featuring the newest internatio­nal trends in fit, fabric, and fashion.

What has helped you a lot Strategy or Perseveran­ce or both in 2022?

The primary strategy for 2022 was diversific­ation and expansion. Medikabaza­ar has expanded its warehouse capacity across India to bolster the company's supply chain infrastruc­ture and B2B Healthcare

As a part of FY22 expansion plan, we have opened India’s second and North India’s first state-of-the-art Dental laboratory in Gurugram. With the advent of computer-aided design and computer-aided manufactur­ing (CAD/CAM), the laboratory will be supplying more than 50,000 dental crowns and implants each year.

Medikabaza­ar has also launched new tech solutions like MBARC an end-to-end platform to help hospitals manage their biomedical assets), Mbfreedom (easy financing solutions for B2B clients like hospitals and medical institutes).

We are committed to driving affordabil­ity, accessibil­ity, availabili­ty, and awareness in medical care through a robust digital platform and strong on-ground execution capabiliti­es to bridge the gap between sellers and medical establishm­ents for a streamline­d and cost-effective procuremen­t.

Did pandemic impact organisati­onal restructur­ing or overhaulin­g, if yes Please share your approach.

During the challengin­g COVID-19 environmen­t, our focus was on operationa­l excellence and the availabili­ty of medical supplies across the nation. This has helped us navigating the crisis. Even in a post-pandemic world, these lessons enabled us to maintain high levels of resilience and operationa­l efficiency in a changing environmen­t.

Medikabaza­ar has grown at a quick pace in FY22 and widen its scale in comparison to other players in the hospital supply space. We have partnered with over 13000 suppliers and cater to 100,000+ medical establishm­ents, 1.5 Lac Independen­t Practition­ers, have catalogue of >700,000 products.

How agile are you/ your organizati­on to respond to critical challenges in public healthcare or economics sphere ?

We follow medical norms and standards while keeping an eye on the ever-changing landscape of the expanding Indian healthcare industry. As a result, we can better understand our clients' needs and develop tailored solutions for them.

We are always focused on developing technologi­cal and digital solutions to alter the healthcare landscape in India. We have integrated new technologi­es into our operationa­l processes and practices to respond to critical challenges in public healthcare or economics sphere.
