He was born in a family which has served the nation as doctors for last 100 years. His great grandfather Mr Jeewan Sabherwal started Jeewan Hospital 100 years back after Gandhi ji’s Lecture in Lahore, undivided India & pledged that all children in family will be doctor will do service to mankind. So the family has 150 doctors, biggest in the World, He is a Laparoscopic advanced gastro-intestinal surgeon, who got Gold medal in his Masters surgery and then conquered world by shining in Royal college of surgeons Edinburgh, UK. He got the fellowship of surgery from Chicago, USA, after doing his Diplomat of National Board of Delhi, Got many awards from Govt. like Community Healer title from Chief Minister of Delhi, Appreciation from Governor of Arunachal Pradesh, Special Police Officer (Police Mitra) title from Delhi Police Commissioner and National Award from Association of surgeon India. With a landslide victory, he was elected CGP Director of the Indian Medical Association South Delhi Branch.

In this hospital, His Grand Parents Dr Rajinder Nath Sabherwal and Dr Shakuntala Sabherwal started the Jeewan Hospital 1 in Delhi in 1951,His Parents Dr. Davinder Sabherwal and Dr. Savita Sabherwal, both UK trained, provided unconditional and sympathetic service to humanity.his Wife, Dr. Savita Sabherwal, MD (Lady Harding) MRCOG (London), the other Director and Head of the Department of Gynaecology and Obstetrics, is holding the Fort with him and running the Hospital successfully.his Children, Shreya and Shivendra Sabherwal, the fourth generation of doctors, are enrolled in a medical college in Delhi. Jeewan Hospital 1, Ashram, was recently honored by the Health Ministry and FICCI with an invitation to the G20 historical Health summit and singed the Mous with 40 countries worldwide, flying the Indian and Jeewan 1 flags high. MOU for treating patients from all over the world, including Africa, Russia, Egypt, Europe, Uganda, Nepal, and Bangladesh.

He has written lots of papers and done lot of awareness programmes on media cannels live News 24, NDTV, Times of India, and Hindustan Times.
