New Busi­ness Class on Turk­ish Air­lines, an Epit­ome of Royalty

Turk­ish Air­lines, Europe’s fastest grow­ing air­line com­pany and the win­ner of Sky­trax award for be­ing the ‘Best Air­line in Europe’, presents a host of high qual­ity ser­vices in its New Busi­ness Class.


The new Busi­ness Class cabin is laid out in a 2-3-2 con­fig­u­ra­tion and of­fers fully re­clin­able 75 inch flat beds for sleep­ing space. A seat pitch of 61 inches is pro­vided to en­sure a pas­sen­ger’s com­fort and mo­bil­ity. Main Con­trol unit, lo­cated in the cen­tre con­sole at the front end of the arm­rest, pro­vides full con­trol of the bed. Gen­er­ous and am­ple legroom al­lows pas­sen­gers that ex­tra bit of stretch in the long haul flights. The seat acts like a per­sonal masseuse and re­laxes the mus­cles.

Each Busi­ness Class seat comes with a PC power re­cep­ta­cle that sup­plies en­ergy for the lap­tops and sim­i­lar elec­tri­cal de­vices. En­ter­tain­ment sys­tem with live TV and Wi-Fi con­nec­tiv­ity.

The newly in­stalled in-flight en­ter­tain­ment sys­tem on the air­craft gives the fliers an en­thralling ex­pe­ri­ence. Equipped with per­sonal touch-screen mon­i­tors and planet dig­i­tal sys­tem pro­vide pas­sen­gers a plethora of movies and mu­sic op­tions in more than 7 lan­guages. Pas­sen­gers can even se­lect a pro­gramme of their choice with the re­mote con­trol de­vice at­tached to their seats.

The Planet dig­i­tal sys­tem of­fers close to 350 films and tele­vi­sion se­ries, dra­mas, doc­u­men­taries, sports, travel, food, fash­ion and tech­nol­ogy pro­grammes and car­toons. Also avail­able are 600 CD al­bums across generes such as, Pop&Rock, Jazz&Blues, New Age, Rock and Turk­ish Folk mu­sic to name a few.

In­di­vid­ual and mul­ti­ple player game chan­nels, chil­dren’s chan­nel and an au­dio book chan­nel are also ac­ces­si­ble on the flights. The news chan­nel of­fers pas­sen­gers world news. Turk­ish Air­lines is the first car­rier to of­fer live, in­flight tele­vi­sion on trans-At­lantic flight.

High speed in­ter­net ac­cess and Wi-Fi con­nec­tiv­ity en­ables the pas­sen­gers to use their mo­bile de­vices such as, note­book, iPad, tablets, etc. Pas­sen­gers can also send and re­ceive text mes­sages and e-mails through this in-flight con­nec­tiv­ity.

Fly­ing Chef

Turk­ish Air­lines boasts the world’s largest fleet of fly­ing chefs on their new Busi­ness Class. The cater­ing ser­vice by Do&Co, the on-board cater­ing sub­sidiary of Turk­ish Air­lines pre­pares fresh and mouth wa­ter­ing cuisines from all over the world.
