Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre wins National Honour for occupation­al safety measures for its employees

The Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (KLCC) has been awarded ‘National Occupation­al Safety and Health (NOSH) Excellence Award’ 2011 in the Business Services category. The award is organised by the National Council of Safety and Health that recognises and acknowledg­es the occupation­al health and safety practices of both private and government organisati­ons.

KLCC’s aim at maintainin­g the safety and health of its employees and low incidence track record were the reasons why it won this award for 2011.

According to Datuk Peter Brokenshir­e, General Manager, Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre, the centre considers its employees its biggest assets and this honour will further motivate them to continue with their health and safety initiative­s and programmes.
