Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre wins National Honour for occupational safety measures for its employees
The Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (KLCC) has been awarded ‘National Occupational Safety and Health (NOSH) Excellence Award’ 2011 in the Business Services category. The award is organised by the National Council of Safety and Health that recognises and acknowledges the occupational health and safety practices of both private and government organisations.
KLCC’s aim at maintaining the safety and health of its employees and low incidence track record were the reasons why it won this award for 2011.
According to Datuk Peter Brokenshire, General Manager, Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre, the centre considers its employees its biggest assets and this honour will further motivate them to continue with their health and safety initiatives and programmes.
