Day 3

At 0800 hours depart for a full day tour to the Wahiba Sands and Wadi Bani Khalid by 4WD vehicles. The drive offers a panoramic view of the landscape, which includes many pretty villages embedded in the mountains. The Wadi has clear deep blue water and is a perfect place for a swim. Picnic lunch can be served in the Wahiba Sands. The everchanging patterns of the dunes are a photographer’s delight. Experience a roller coaster like feeling as you are driven over the dunes. Visit a Bedouin house in this wilderness. Return to Muscat in the evening. Rest of the day at leisure followed by dinner.
