Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre upgrades its audio-visual equipment standard

-

The Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre (GCCEC), Queensland, Australia, has upgraded its inhouse audio-visual equipment and is now going to have a giant screen, which measures 27m wide by 5.5m high. It is fed by three Barco HDX W14 high definition projectors. For the giant screen, 3 individual projector images are blended, using the Encore system, to create a single, crystal-clear image. This addition is expected to bring out a dramatic change in the event experience for visitors.

The Centre has also added a smaller 16m wide by 5.5m high screen to its range of AV equipment. Both these screens will be available to use in the GCCEC’s Arena and Halls in various room configurations. The GCCEC is preparing to launch its inhouse AV from July 1, 2012.
