Barcelona Convention Bureau Director Steps Down
After a fruitful 29 years in management, the Barcelona Convention Bureau (BCB) founder Airy Garrigosa, will be stepping down from her title as Director. Moving forward, Christoph Tessmar, an expert in the organisation of national and international conferences for large companies, will be succeeding Ms. Garrigosa as the new Director for the highly accredited BCB. Tessmar began his professional career at Boehringer Mannheim as the Area Manager for several countries in South America. In January 1990, he moved to the Boehringer Mannheim offices in Barcelona where he got his start in the organisation of events and congresses.
