‘Positively Wellington Venues’ extends venue offering for 2013

The organisation responsible for Wellington’s most impressive portfolio of venues – Positively Wellington Venues – will extend its offering for 2013 when it takes over management of the gallery function space at the New Zealand Academy of Fine Arts.

The unique function space – on Wellington’s Queen’s Wharf – is housed within the stunning waterfront Academy building and has already hosted events including information seminars for the BT Round the World Yacht Race and preshow cocktails for World of Wearable Arts. When coinciding with one of the Academy’s world-class exhibitions, guests are surrounded by up to 500 works by some of New Zealand’s leading artists.
