2012 was a good year for us in terms of Meeting & Incentive related outbound travel and 2013 would be even better. International destinations offering value for money services such as Thailand, Malaysia and Dubai were high in demand in 2012 due to affordable accommodation, apt flight connectivity and abundant sightseeing options to offer. Sri Lanka, Korea, Philippines, South Africa and Indonesia will be in great demand amongst the corporates in 2013. In India, while the Meetings and Incentive segment is ahead in the race, other aspects of MICE such as exhibitions/trade fairs and events are not far behind in travel. Big corporates want overseas destinations as event venues with a good location, international cuisine and folklore, combined with varied options for sightseeing.
