The Public Relations Office , Malaysia Convention and Exhibition Bureau (MyCEB) commented, “In view of the growing demands for Malaysia as the preferred global meetings destination, MyCEB will continue to provide quality services through its Conference Mobile Application and Delegate Privilege Cards. Applicable to conferences with more than 500 international delegates, users will be able to obtain information on the conference they are attending, including schedules, conference speakers, surveys and announcements. The mobile app also comes with a destination feature which guides delegates on attractions, shopping and dining options around Kuala Lumpur. In later development stages, MyCEB will be expanding the mobile app to feature other states around the country. As an added attraction, delegates will also be presented with a Delegates Privilege Card which entitles them to redeem discounts and privileges at selected food & beverage, retail, entertainment outlets, attractions and transportation.” MyCEB also offers a Malaysia Twin Deal Programme, which gives value-added support and incentive rewards for international corporate meetings, incentive groups and incentive planners. The subvention funding under MyCEB’s purview, coupled with their programmes such as Malaysia Twin Deal Programme, will continue to ensure Malaysia remains a premier business tourism destination.
Alan Mark Pryor, Deputy General Manager, KLCC says, “The KLCC plans for 2014 include investing a RM7.5 million (over $2 million) in technology upgrades on four projects as part of their ongoing efforts to enhance service delivery to delegates and visitors alike.”
