Turkish Airlines, a member of Star Alliance, offers more than 239 direct destination flights between Istanbul and five continents. The city has two airports, one on the Asian side of the city and the other on the European side, and is served by nearly 300 international airlines. Looking ahead, the under-construction Istanbul New Airport is poised to be the world’s largest when it opens with six runways and an annual capacity of 150 million.
