India’s Business Travel Spend to Grow to $24.9 billion: GBTA
The education and research arm of Global Business Travel Association (GBTA) has released a report that projects India’s total business travel spend this year to grow by 2.1 per cent year-on-year to $24.9 billion. This, it states, will increase 7.9 per cent next year to touch $28.8 billion. The BTI Outlook—India report states that India’s domestic business travel spending will grow by 2.2 per cent in 2014. The association indicated that the new government could boost India’s business and investor confidence. India’s international outbound business travel spending is expected to grow 1.1 per cent this year and 7 per cent next year.
