Turkey aims 130,000 Indian arrivals in 2015

Turkish Tourism is anticipating more than 1.3 lakh Indian visitor arrivals by this year end, says Ozgur Ayturk, Coordinator, Turkish Ministry of Culture and Tourism. “India is third in our top three source countries and last year, there was a growth of more than 10 per cent from the Indian sector. We anticipate more than 1.3 lakh visitors in 2015,” he says. The Turkish Ministry of Culture and Tourism in association with the Association of Turkish Travel Agents and the Turkish Hoteliers Federation recently concluded a two-city roadshow in India to give the tourism industry a better idea of Turkey as a destination. The roadshow was held in Mumbai and Delhi.
