How important is a PPP model for MICE?

PPP has proven to be a great model across sectors and I believe this sector cannot be an exception, but it has to be in an engaged and sustained manner over a period of time. We, as a country, have lost out on many an international convention due to lack of policy focus, infrastructure and initiative by both the government and industry over the years. I think the stage of economic development that we are in now, it is the opportune timing for us to strengthen our presence in the MICE domain also.
