10th edi­tion of Star­wood Expo

Star­wood Ho­tels and Re­sorts hosted the 10th edi­tion of the Star­wood In­dia Expo 2016 across four ci­ties in the coun­try. Close to 2000 cus­tomers at­tended the road­show

The Star­wood In­dia Expo is an an­nual road show which brings to­gether the com­pany’s B2B cus­tomers from all seg­ments of the in­dus­try. It pro­vides an op­por­tu­nity for Star­wood as­so­ciates to up­date their cus­tomers across all mar­ket seg­ments on the com­pany’s de­vel­op­ments world­wide, strengthen ex­ist­ing re­la­tion­ships. Speak­ing about the im­por­tance of the road show, Nich­las Maratos, Vice Pres­i­dent– Sales, Asia Pa­cific, Star­wood Ho­tels & Re­sorts says, “it’s our 10th year of con­duct­ing this road show. This is a great op­por­tu­nity for our ho­tels across In­dia and abroad to meet with our cus­tomers.” Dhanan­jay Saliankar, Re­gional Di­rec­tor, Sales & Mar­ket­ing and Star­wood Sales Or­ga­ni­za­tion, South Asia at Star­wood Ho­tels & Re­sorts stat­ing the im­por­tance of the road show says, “This road show is a plat­form to bring our cus­tomers and ho­tels to­gether. The agenda is to talk about our new open­ings, new mar­kets etc. across the globe.”

Barun Gupta, Ac­count Di­rec­tor (Global Sales) - Star­wood Sales Or­ga­ni­za­tion, Star­wood Ho­tels & Re­sorts, says, “This is the 10th an­niver­sary for Star­wood expo and there is more par­tic­i­pa­tion from In­dia and abroad. The In­dia mar­ket is grow­ing world­wide, these kinds of road shows help us ed­u­cate our cus­tomers and grow our busi­ness year on year.” About up­com­ing ho­tels Maratos says, “Across Asia-Pa­cific we have 320 ho­tels. We open a ho­tel ev­ery 10 days and sign a deal roughly ev­ery seven days. In In­dia, we have 54 ho­tels, an­other 47 are un­der con­struc­tion. We will be launch­ing W in the mid­dle of the year and we have a new ho­tel open­ing in Pushkar too.” Also, Star­wood will be launch­ing W in Septem­ber
