In­dian tourists headed to­wards Ire­land

The breath­tak­ing land­scapes and ru­ral idylls of Ire­land have beck­oned In­dian tourists, re­sult­ing in a yearon-year rise of over 25 per cent in In­dian vis­i­tor ar­rival num­bers. “Ours is the land of myths and leg­ends which cap­tures the imag­i­na­tion of chil­dren and adults alike. Ire­land is also home to sev­eral UNESCO world her­itage sites such as the Gi­ant’s Cause­way, the Bur­ren and the Skel­ligs among oth­ers,” states Niall Gib­bons, CEO of Tourism Ire­land. “We are ex­pect­ing 15-20 per cent in­crease in tourist ar­rivals to Ire­land from In­dia in 2016.”
