The MICE industry is increasing­ly gaining ground across geographie­s. Even as technology and webinars gain popularity, face-to-face interactio­ns continue to be the ultimate form of connectivi­ty. Countries are continuous­ly innovating on MICE services that they can offer to consumers, facilitati­ng the developmen­t of their cities in this direction. In this issue, we strive to identify popular MICE destinatio­ns and the plenitude of incentives and amenities they offer.

The MICE industry is really weathering the storm, with a significan­t growth in the number of events and venues. The search is on for more innovative technology that further stimulates the need for face-toface meetings. The Indian market is also likely to witness the coming in of more specialist companies that provide consultanc­y services to customers, apart from providing logistics and hospitalit­y products.
