INEVITABLE

-

The central government has taken the right decision in cancelling the class 10 CBSE exam and deferring the class 12 CBSE Exam as the cases of Covid-19 exponentially surged in our country. Given the daily surge in cases of Covid-19, this decision to cancel the exam was inevitable. Although it may affect the academic results of many bright and meritorious students, in the end, it is not at all a bad move for them as well since the most precious thing for anybody is to look after one’s life and get along with all its vicissitudes. The parents, as well as teachers, should strongly console those students who desperately want to achieve something in their academics. Due to the negligence of our fellow brothers and sisters and casualness of our Government in following the Covid-19 protocols, the infection is getting fast spread in our country but most surprisingly the Central Government have still not blown the alarm bell and instead they have allowed conducting Assembly Elections going on in several states of our country which is a matter of grave concern for all of us. In this time of utter crisis, the only focus for each one of us should be how to contain the spread of this lethal virus but unfortunately, even after knowing such massive loss of human lives, we as well as our respective governments are not taking any precautionary measures to get rid of this panic situation. Our state government should also take strong decisions immediately regarding the conduct of Board examinations and H.S Exams as the students might have been undergoing mental agony which is not a good sign for their health. Hopefully, the decision of our state government in this regard might be announced soon so that all our board examinees could know where they stand at this particular point in time.
