Deepika heads to Cannes on jury duty, representi­ng India

Hollywood star John Krasinski’s popular series ‘Jack Ryan’ may come to end on ‘Prime Video’ after its fourth season.

According to ‘Deadline’, the ‘Amazon’ streamer is planning to conclude the series with season four, which is currently filming. However, the streaming service would continue the franchise with a spin-off show, centering on actor Michael Pena’s character Ding Chavez.

A world-renowned actor, producer and philanthro­pist, Deepika looked absolutely stunning as she jetted off to Cannes where she will commence her jury duties. Deepika, who represents India at one of the world’s most prestigiou­s film gatherings and one of the most widely publicised cultural events in the world, has a busy two weeks ahead from May 16 to May 28. She will be there throughout the festival.

Iranian filmmaker Asghar Farhadi, Swedish actor Noomi Rapace, actor, screenwrit­er and producer Rebecca Hall, Italian actor Jasmine Trinca, French director Ladj Ly, American director Jeff Nichols and director Joachim Trier from Norway as they together review the best global films that look to push the creative envelope, enhance the developmen­t of cinema and promote the developmen­t of the global film industry.
