PARSING – THE MIND’S EYE

An exhibition of glass and light by Vijay Kowshik, senior artist. The exhibition delves into the mind of the artist with expression­s thrown from his agitated psyche striving to extract experience­s from the collective consciousn­ess. The medium of expression is ceramic in which glass is his main motivation. The works juxtapose the inner feelings of the artist through the plasticity of the material at high temperatur­es. The amalgamati­on evokes a strange quality of thrill and joy in the making, which manifests itself finally in the works. NOIR LITERATURE FESTIVAL

The festival will include the works of best crime writers of the country as well as noted authors from Autralia, Italy and Norway. The festival, along with a writing workshop, and a screening of the classic noir film, will comprise of different genres of crime as Oxford Bookstore celebrate the work of illustriou­s writer such as Surender Mohan Pathak and Vibhuti Narain Rai.
