TRIBUTE TO MAHATMA GANDHI

An iconic modernist painter, Syed Haider Raza has come up with a solo show in collaborat­ion with the Raza Foundation of seven paintings created in 2013 as a tribute to Mahatma Gandhi. Created using subdued hues and motifs that are somewhat a departure from what one usually sees in a Raza painting, each of these seven acrylics on canvas are unique in their content and execution. REMEMBERIN­G GHALIB

A two day cultural event is set to pay tribute and keep alive the soulful writings and poems penned down by the Mughal Raj poet, Ghalib. And to re-live the refined language of Urdu, Padma Bhushan Kathak dancer Uma Sharma will interpret his poems and will bring out the many moods buried in Ghalib’s work. A NIGHT OF COMEDY

The comedy king of Bollywood- Asrani is starring as Topan Lal in The Makhichoos the modern adaptation of the classic comedy - The Miser by Moliere. The play directed by Pranav Sachdeva feature a part of Topan Lal Keshwani’s world, who is obsessed with wealth. They will sing, dance and entertain. Tickets are available online starting from Rs 400.
