BODY OF GIRL FOUND FROM CANAL

CHANDIGARH: The body of an unidentified girl, aged about six-seven years, was fished out on Sunday from a canal in Titoli village in Haryana's Rohtak district, police said. The body, which was in a bag, appeared to be about a week old, they added. The locals spotted the bag floating in the canal. Some parts of the body were visible from the bag and the villagers informed the police immediately. "The girl's age could be around six to seven years and the body could be about a week old," a Rohtak police official said.
