NEW DELHI: Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia on Friday inaugurated the 30th Mango Festival at Dilli Haat here in Janakpuri, which will remain open for public till Sunday, between 11.00 am and 9.00 pm.

Inaugurating the festival, Sisodia said, “Mango is the king of fruits and Indian summer is incomplete without mangoes. Delhi’s summer is incomplete without the Mango Festival.”
“Mango has been an inseparable part of Indian culture since ancient times. From cuisine to ceremonies, mango plays an important role and thus, it deserves a celebration,” Sisodia added.
The various types of mangoes on display will include Langra, Chausa, Rataul, Hussainara, Ramkela, Kesar, Fazri, Mallika, and Amrapali among others.
