45-YEAR-OLD MAN CRUSHED TO DEATH BY RTV IN SHAKURPUR

NEW DELHI: A 45-year-old man was crushed to death after he came under the wheels of an rural transport vehicle (RTV) in Shakarpur on Friday morning. Delhi Police said it received a PCR call at around 9.50 am from near the Mother Dairy bus stand in Shakarpur. When cops reached the spot, 68-year-old Kanta Devi – the victim Mahendra’s mother – told cops that her son had come to drop her off at the bus stand. “After his mother boarded the RTV, Mahendra was getting down when the driver suddenly started the bus and her son fell down and his head was crushed under rear tyre,” said DCP East Pankaj Singh. The driver, identified as Rahul, has been arrested, said cops.
