SISODIA TO INAUGURATE URDU FESTIVAL TODAY

NEW DELHI: Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia will inaugurate the Urdu Festival of Delhi on Saturday. “We were pleased with the overwhelming response to the Urdu Heritage Festival’s last edition. That has encouraged us to present a bigger and better avatar of the festival. Urdu is an integral part of Delhi’s cultural and literary history. Our government hopes to create an environment of harmony and love through such programmes. This celebration of Urdu will bring together all the lovers of Urdu who can enjoy the use of the language in varied forms”, Sisodia said on Friday.
