TOO YUMM! – the FMCG brand of the Rp–san­jiv Goenka group has un­veiled its new­est snack prod­uct range - Karare. Aptly tagged-– ‘Ba­har se tedha, An­dar se seedha’ – on the same plat­form of ‘ baked and not fried’. So you can sa­ti­ate your hunger pangs guilt free with the new lip-smack­ing Karare.

Karare is avail­able in five vari­ants – Chilli Achari, Gar­lic Peri Peri, Munchy Masala, Noo­dle Masala and South­ern spicy. With 40 per­cent less fat, Karare has been in­tro­duced with an aim to put an end to the con­stant bat­tle be­tween health and taste. Karare’s rich flavours prom­ise to give you new snack­ing op­tions without com­pro­mis­ing on your health.

San­jiv Goenka, Chair­man of Rp-san­jiv Goenka Group, com­ment­ing on the new launch said, “We are ex­cited to in­tro­duce the all­new Karare range. Karare, which was launched in Oc­to­ber with five flavours in three dif­fer­ent types of packs (Rs. 5/-, 10/-, 20/-) is cur­rently mak­ing six prod­ucts – Karare, Quinoa Puffs, Multi­grain chips, Veg­gie stix, Foxnuts and Wheat thins (round khakhra) which are quite pop­u­lar among peo­ple. With al­most 4.5 lakh dis­tri­bu­tion out­lets, the brand has now started ex­port­ing the prod­ucts in Dubai, Sin­ga­pore, Oman, and Qatar.

As for the man­u­fac­tur­ing, it is cur­rently be­ing done in four lo­ca­tions out of which the FMGC brand owns two units – one in Ra­jkot and the other in Hy­der­abad. Be­sides these, it is set­ting up an­other plant in Te­lan­gana for which a to­tal in­vest­ment of 247 crores across 27 acres has been made. The plant is ex­pected to em­ploy around 700 peo­ple. Also, R&D fa­cil­ity is be­ing set up in Thane and will be op­er­a­tional by Fe­bru­ary 2019.
