INTOLERABLE ATTITUDE

Disciplinary action initiated by India's Cricket Board against Hardik Pandya and KL Rahul is considered appropriate as they have grossly offended the whole of womanhood with loose talks about their affairs with girls, on a popular television chat show last week. The celebrity status of a person does not offer a licence for vulgar comments. As sporting icons, both of them enjoy the adulation and support of millions of fans. As such, they have to live up to the highest standards in behaviour with their unblemished personal lives. This episode will carry a bad image for the sporting communities in the society.
