2 KILLED IN SEPARATE ROAD ACCIDENTS

NEW DELHI: Two youngsters have died and two are injured in two separate road accidents in Outer Delhi's Pashim Vihar. In the first incident, a 22-yearold boy was run over by a speeding vehicle on Thursday Night at around 12 midnight. The boy was immediatel­y rushed to the hospital but he was declared brought dead. The police have regsitered a cae of 279 and 304 A and are looking for the accused driver.

In the second incident, a car lost control at Paschim Vihar early in the morning and hit a pole. One of the occupants of the car was also thrown out smashing the windscreen. He died on the spot. The driver of the car and the other occupant also were grievously injured in the accident. "The deceased has been identified as Himanshu, the injured are Sahib and Jayant. They were traveling in a Honda city car," said a senior police officer.

“The passerby told our team that the car was in high speed. They ventured out to have parathas early morning and probably lost control over the car which later hit a pole,” said a senior police officer. The body of the deceased has been sent for post mortem and the injured have been admitted in the hospital.

Earlier, five persons died in three separate road accidents in Delhi. In first accident in southeast Delhi, three persons died after the auto-rickshaw they were travelling toppled in NFC area on Thursday night. In second mishap, an ITI student was crushed to death by a speeding DTC bus in Nizamuddin area. While in the third incident in northeast Delhi's Harsh Vihar area, a youth was mowed down by a tractor late on Thursday night.
