"This fact is being investigated. We are probing case from different angles," police said.

DCP Biswal said that residents heard a loud noise from their room which was bolted from inside. They broken the door and entered the room along with other neighbour and found both Aakash and Bhawna lying under a pool of blood and one blood-stained vegetable knife was also found in the room.

Both the injured persons were shifted to Apollo Hospital, where the doctor declared both dead.

"It further came to notice that they were married 6 years back and having 5 years old son, who had gone to school at the time of the incident," said DCP Biswal.

Since they were married for less than seven years, the Sub Divisional Magistrate of the area has been informed and inquest proceedings are being conducted, he added.

On local enquiry, it revealed that both Akash and Bhawana used to quarrel regularly as Akash who was working as sanitation supervisor was wasting money and did not give money to Bhawna for daily needs. Further investigation in the case is going on.
