Air India Eastern Region observes Vigilance Awareness Week
KOLKATA: Vigilance Department of Air India, Eastern Region, observed Vigilance Awareness Week from October 28 to November 2, 2019, on the theme ‘Integrity –a Way of Life' with programmes at all Air India locations in the region. Employees, cutting across hierarchy, participated in the events starting with taking of the pledge led by employees led by the Regional Director, ER, Sanjay Mishra. Banners, posters, standees were placed at prominent places. Pamphlets were distributed to the passengers and cards placed on meal trays on select flights to create awareness.
Sit & Draw and Debate competitions were organized for schoolchildren and the top performers were awarded. E-pledge was administered to the passengers at Kolkata Airport and Certificate of Commitment awarded to them. A workshop was held for employees on the theme Iintegrity – a Way of Life at Airlines House on November 1, 2019, which was graced by senior CBI and police officials. As per directions of the Central Vigilance Commission, Vigilance Awareness Week-2019 was observed in PFC from October 28 to November 2, 2019. CMD, PFC, Rajeev Sharma along with Directors & CVO Birendra Kumar administered ‘Satya Nishtha Pratigya’ (Integrity Pledge) to all employees of the corporation to mark the beginning of Vigilance Week 2019 ‘Vigilance Awareness Week’ was observed in POWERGRID from October 28 to November 2, 2019. The Week started with the administering of pledge to all the employees posted at RHQ, NR-I, & Telecom jointly by H K Mallick, ED (NR-1), Y K Dixit, Chief GM (AM & ULDC), S C Agrawal, Chief GM (Telecom) & Subhankar Das, Chief GM (Vigilance) respectively. All the employees participated enthusiastically in various programmes, like online-quiz, debate competitions, Nukkar Natak, Walkathon etc NLCIL India Limited as part of its Vigilance Awareness Week -2019 celebrations, organized a Mini Marathon Rally and a Human Chain involving Neyveli School Children to spread the message on importance of ‘Integrity’ at Neyveli, on Tuesday.
