Narrow escape for passengers as speeding bus overturns

GURUGRAM: It was a narrow escape for the passengers on Thursday after a tourist bus that was coming from Jaipur to Delhi hit the divider and overturned. The main cause of the accident was the loss of balance by the driver who lost control due to overspeeding.

Ten passengers traveling in the bus have been injured and admitted to the hospital for treatment. As of now, no death has been reported. According to sources, two passengers have received severe injuries and are said to be in critical state.

The incident occurred at National Highway-8 along the Manesar. According to police officials, the double-decker passenger bus was coming from Jaipur to Delhi when the driver suddenly lost the balance and hit the divider. The impact of the crash can be gauged from the fact that after hitting the divider not only the double-decker bus crashed into the other part of the road but it also overturned.
