Three injured in scuffle over parking issue in East Delhi

NEW DELHI: Three people were injured in a scuffle related to parking issue in New Ashok Nagar area of East Delhi. Police said that cross cases were registered in this regard.

According to police, on Wednesday, a PCR call was received at New Ashok Nagar police station regarding quarrel at Indira Chowk in New Kondli market.

The investigat­ing officer reached the spot where he came to know that there was a quarrel on the issue of parking between shopkeeper and buyer.

"Three people got injuries from both sides and admitted to different hospitals," police said adding that cross Cases were registered against each other in appropriat­e sections.

“The case is being investigat­ed covering several angles. We have also questioned several people in this regard,” police said.

Man dies after falling from balcony

Meanwhile, in another case, a person has died after falling off the balcony of a house in north Delhi's Sarai Rohilla area, police said on Thursday.

The deceased was a native of Rajasthan, who was working as a mason here, they said, adding that the incident took place around 9 am on Tuesday.

The deceased with his associate were engaged to do some work at the house in Inderlok area, police said.

Deceased climbed up the balcony without any gear and after some time, lost balance and fell.

He was rushed to a hospital, where doctors declared him brought dead, the officer said.

A case has been registered and a probe initiated, he added.
