Be entrepreneurs, not job seekers: Himachal Guv
SHIMLA: Exhorting the Indian Universities to impart knowledge-based learning, Himachal Pradesh Governor Bandaru Dattatraya asked the university pass-outs to look forward their careers as entrepreneurs, not job-seekers.
“I request all of you to acquire knowledge and skills that makes you entrepreneurs rather looking-up to jobs. Every single youth passing-out from the universities should create such abilities which enabled them to give employments to 10 to 15 people,” the Governor said.
Delivering convocation address of APG Shimla university – an institution having students from 26 countries, the Governor said the technology has changed the way of our thinking. India has already tried to carve out its important place in the world. Now, it's up to the youths to use new technologies and IT solutions to give a new edge to the country.
He reminded as how the girls were excelling in every field of development. There was no field left where the women have not made their mark. But that doesn't mean that boys (males) are not working hard. They too have progressed well and were competing with girls.
